1. Agreement

These Terms of Use apply to your use of Screenshot OCR by Nuuki. By using the app, you agree to these terms.

2. What the app does

Screenshot OCR helps you process screenshots you select, extract text, and create searchable cards with summaries, categories, tags, and key details.

3. Your responsibility

You are responsible for the screenshots you choose to process and for reviewing generated cards. AI-generated summaries may be incomplete or inaccurate, so you should verify important information before relying on it.

4. Sensitive information

The app attempts to flag screenshots that appear to contain passwords, recovery codes, credentials, or similar sensitive information. This detection may not be perfect. You should avoid processing highly sensitive information unless you are comfortable doing so.

5. Subscriptions

The app may offer monthly and yearly auto-renewable subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled according to Apple’s App Store subscription rules.

You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings. Refund requests are handled by Apple.

6. Deletion and backups

The app does not delete original screenshots by default. If you enable deletion features, you remain responsible for reviewing results and maintaining any backups you need.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to reverse engineer it, interfere with its operation, or use it in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.

8. No warranty

The app is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that OCR, AI summaries, search, categorization, or sensitive screenshot detection will be error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nuuki will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business opportunities arising from your use of the app.

10. Apple standard terms

If the app is downloaded from the Apple App Store, Apple’s standard end-user license agreement may also apply unless a custom EULA is provided in App Store Connect.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page.
